We offer highly interactive and practical workshops for teachers, non-teaching staff, and students at both the elementary and secondary school level. Our workshops take into account the knowledge, ability, skills, and experience that the participants bring to training sessions.
The following titles represent some of our workshops that can be customized for a particular group:
• Anti Bullying — Safe school Approach. Highly interactive workshop designed to provide school personnel with strategies to recognize and proactively deal with bullying situations.
• Specific Social Skill Intervention — workshop for students, teaching pro-social behaviour and skills that can be applied to everyday student life challenges.
• Playground Leadership Program — workshop for Grade 5 and 6 students that combines social skill development along with providing structure to periods in the day (i.e. recess) when issues frequently happen with children.
• Suicide Prevention and Awareness —
For students: a combination of classroom information sessions to educate students and increase awareness of feelings related to depression with selves and others.
For teachers and staff: a training session focusing on identifying potentially suicidal students, suicide prevention strategies, warring signs.
• Substance Use and Abuse — training to help student refuse drugs effectively and still maintain friendships.
