Bartimaeus specializes in providing services that respond to people who have emotional, developmental and mental health difficulties and whose behaviour is deemed out of their, their parents’, or other care providers’ control.

Bartimaeus has been providing services since 1988 in schools, group homes, hospitals, treatment centers, youth justice facilities, in workplaces, and directly to people in their homes and communities, throughout Ontario and Quebec.

Our experience is that almost all moderate to extreme negative behaviours can be modified or extinguished with the support and intervention of trained practitioners.

In addition to providing direct service practitioners, Bartimaeus provides social skill group programs to schools throughout our service areas, training service to practitioners and administrators, and consultation service to meet the unique and changing needs of people and the organizations that provide psycho-social-educational services.
