Kellie Gies is a graduate from the Child and Youth Worker program at Humber College and has been a Child and Youth Care Practitioner for the past 20 years.  She has worked directly with children, adolescents, adults and their families in many areas within her scope of practice including acquired brain injury, mental health, youth in care, autism spectrum disorder, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. 

Kellie has worked in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, in-home and community-based programs. She has extensive experience in trauma theory, safety and behaviour management planning, and collaborative problem solving (CPS) allowing her to be creative and intuitive when working to empower youth and their families. 

Kellie has worked for Bartimaeus as an Associate since 2011 and has been a Service Director for Brayden Supervision Services since 2016.
